Seasons

• Season Duration: Each cycle corresponds to a two-month period.

• Point Tallying: Points earned by users are counted at the end of each season.

• Seasonal allocations: There are five initial seasons in total, each lasting 2-months. The first two seasons have 1.5% of the token supply allocated to it and the remaining three seasons 0.375% of the token supply. This rate may change across each season.

Genesis Season

Genesis Season was the first Liquidium Season, lasting from Liquidium's inception until July 21, 2024. With the Genesis Season, the Genesis Airdrop came, releasing a total of 10,000,000 tokens to protocol users and ordinals holders. Read more about it here.

Based on community feedback, a governance proposal was passed to remunerate users for a sybil attack as well as point multipliers for users of previous seasons.

Season 1

July 21, 2024 (12PM UTC) - September 21, 2024 (12PM UTC)

Season 1 is the first season after the genesis season and lasts for two months. The total amount of tokens allocated for this season is 1,500,000 LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN. The tokens will be claimable for users at the end of the season. (US citizens excluded)

Season 2

September 21, 2024 (12PM UTC) - November 21, 2024 (12PM UTC)

Season 2 is the second season after the genesis season and following Season 1 and lasts for two months as well. The total amount of tokens allocated for this season is 1,500,000 LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN. The tokens will be claimable for users at the end of the season. (US citizens excluded)

Season 3

November 21, 2024 (12PM UTC) - January 21, 2025 (12PM UTC)

Season 3 is the third season after the genesis season and following Season 2 and lasts for two months as well. The total amount of tokens allocated for this season is 375,000 LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN. The tokens will be claimable for users at the end of the season. (US citizens excluded)

Season 3 rewards were reduced from 1,500,000 tokens to 375,000 token in a governance proposal in order to reduce emissions and add additional seasons.

Season 4

January 21, 2025 (12PM UTC) - March 21, 2025 (12PM UTC)

Season 4 is the fourth season after the genesis season and following Season 3 and lasts for two months as well. The total amount of tokens allocated for this season is 375,000 LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN. The tokens will be claimable for users at the end of the season. (US citizens excluded)

Season 5

March 21, 2025 (12PM UTC) - May 21, 2025 (12PM UTC)

Season 5 is the fifth season after the genesis season and following Season 4 and lasts for two months as well. The total amount of tokens allocated for this season is 375,000 LIQUIDIUM•TOKEN. The tokens will be claimable for users at the end of the season. (US citizens excluded)
